JILL ADAMS MSN, ANP, PMHNP-BC
Jill Adams is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She received an undergraduate degree in nursing at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and earned two master's degrees at Indiana University in Primary Care and Psychiatric Mental Health. Jill has twenty (20) years of experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and prescribing medication in children, adolescents, and adults and forty (40) years in health care.
Jill's practice philosophy is a holistic approach, mind, body, and soul. She encourages healthy lifestyle behaviors such as nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, and stress management. Jill is compassionate, empathetic, and caring to all her patients.
As a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner, Military Veteran and Public Speaker, Jill is also a Published Author. She completed her first book in 2018, "Medicine for the Soul- 9 Miracle Prescriptions." She has also been a guest on Christian Television. Although Jill specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety and ADHD, other areas of interest are obesity and emotional eating, post-traumatic stress disorder, hormones (men and women), and their relationship with mood and overall health. Her main area of interest is the mind, body, and spiritual connection pertaining to their relationship and role in one's health and healing. Jill has always enjoyed helping people and finds her work very rewarding.
Jill's hobbies include writing, beach activities, hiking, bicycling, and traveling. Her longtime hobby has always been playing golf.
